Busy with Stations

The kids love doing stations!! We typically set-up 4 or 5 stations for the children to move between after morning snack. However, with the warmer weather we tend to do less stations and more outside time!! On rainy days though we are back to stations! These are some pictures from a few weeks ago!!

CyRide Tour

The day finally arrived!! The long awaited bus tour came yesterday. The children (and many parents) climbed aboard the full-size CyRide (public transportation) bus for an hour tour that took us all around town and ended with a ride through the bus wash! Everyone had a great time!! Here are some shots! Thanks to all of the parents that were able to come with us and make the tour a success.

Things that go...

Transportation week has kept us busy the past week! The children have been reading about cars, trains, planes, construction equipment, boats, ect.. and are enthusiastic about pointing the different forms of transportation out on our walks. They have made cut-out trains, a bus out of a box, painted with toy cars, and drawn pictures! Tomorrow will be the highlight of the transportation theme as we are going to take a CyRide tour. (They get to ride on a large public transportation bus!) They will LOVE it!!

Fun in the Sun

With the instant onslaught of hot weather, we are making the most of it! We have been heading outside early and enjoying morning snack picnic style!! We also played in the water table this morning. It won't be long before we are running through the sprinkler!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

We want to wish all mothers a wonderful Mother's Day this Sunday!! The children worked very hard on and put lots of love into their Mother's Day paintings. Hopefully their canvas art will make a nice addition in their homes!
