New Toys!!

The backyard was in need of a few more activities now that many of our kids are 3 years old! We finally purchased and put together (thanks Corey) a swing set. The kids LOVE swinging and want to do it non-stop! We are adding a baby swing in the middle and haven't gotten the slide on the side yet.

 (Its a little bright out!)

We have also gotten a pop-up soccer goal! It is fun to watch the kids celebrate after scoring a goal.

Happy Birthdays!!

We are lucky to get to celebrate TWO birthdays this week!!! We celebrated with Elana on Monday and will celebrate with Olivia tomorrow (Wed). Happy Birthday Girls!!

2nd Annual Family Potluck

Last Saturday our family potluck went off wonderfully!! We had very nice weather (thankfully no rain) and a great turn-out. With 8 feet of sub sandwich and many delicious dishes brought by our families, we ate very well!!! Being in the park was also a highlight for the kids as they got to all play together on the park equipment. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it!!!

2nd Annual Summer Potluck

This Saturday (June 18th) will be our Family Potluck at 5:30pm at Brookside Park! We will be in the shelter closest to 6th Street. Hopefully it will be easy to get to with all the road construction.

The main course, drinks, and paper products will be provided. Each family please bring a side dish or dessert to share.

Lets Play in the Water!!!

With today's heat, we were able to play in the water this morning!! The kids LOVED it!! They were not shy to step right in. Their favorite activity was throwing water onto the grass (and into the dirt spots). Hopefully the warmth will soak all that extra water right up!! Yay for summer!!
